The Kingdom of Daytar Leamay
As the closest point to the desert and the forest on the kings road Carak sees a lot of rough travelers. The town itself is quite poor and while the Inn and the mayors home are in excellent shape the rest of the town shows signs of wear and neglect. There is a masterwork elven jeweler named Leylie who does wonderful things with gold and mitheral and a large shrine to Belat on the edge of town.
Griffins Lair: Good/Expensive (KI), Owner Abdual Iche (Human, LE) 3 Floors, 16 Suites, natural hot tub in back. This inn was recently bought out by an Arabic trader who has changed the décor to a really cheesy Arabian Nights theme. Despite the cheese factor this place remains highly popular due to a hot mineral spring in the back that is set up like a hot tub, with benches sunk into the pool. Popular in the day with travelers, popular at night as a place for adult couples to …enjoy themselves (at 1 gp each). The owner ,Abdual, is a jolly and greedy man by nature and loves finding ways to exploit what he has for his gain. His most recent addition to the menu is a specialty for Puggii and Rayyl “Drunken Mice”. He catches and cleans rodents and pickles them in whiskey, serving 3 to a plate.
