Classes

In the kingdom of Daytar Lemay there are many classes, Any published class is allowed except those which deal in black-powder weapons or psionic’s. There are also a few new ones.

Standard Classes

Barbarians:
Barbarians can be from one on the 2 clans who live in The steppes

Bards:
Bards can take training at Gissalar Musical academy or be a member of The Caravans or just a wandering minstrel

Clerics:
There are many churches all over the kingdom with a huge variety of beliefs, See Religion, New Domains

Druids:
At 5th level Druids can apply to become a member of The Druid council

Fighters:
While there are dozens of avenues for training for warriors and fighters the premier school for combat training is The Albright Military Academy

Whip master: human only: The The horselord clans train their warriors and clan protectors with this archetype.

Monk
Monks can receive training at any temple of Kellan or The Ti Dar Monastery
New Monk Archetypes
Pugilist: Boxing specialists, only available from The Albright Military Academy
Bell style Initiates of Kellan, these Monks hit with unbelievable force and harmonize them selves with sonic energies and preform acrobatic feats.
Waterfall style Initiates of Kellan, these Monks focus on trips, bull rush and fast soft movements that use the opponents energy against them.
Tree style Initiates of Kellan, these Monks move slowly bringing opponents in reach into grapples or entangles
Scorch Style Initiates of Kellan, these Monks focus on moving very swiftly and disarming their opponents.
Boulder style Initiates of Kellan, these Monks practice a hard and fast style that provides a lot of defense.
Yin Yang style Initiates of Kellan, these Monks have found their balance, they have advanced their spirit and wisdom

Paladins:
All paladins in the kingdom worship Osmat many become The Silver Swords, and often purchase their steeds from The horselord clans. Likewise Anti-paladins worship Leanta darksun

Ranger: Rangers vary widely as to their backgrounds and training are concerned, most rangers receive their initial training from tutors, family members or specialized tutoring groups. They often work closely with the The Druid council astheir goals are often in alignment.

Tribal Rider Members of the The horselord clans taught from childhood how to ride and control herd animals. (Added for flavor)
The Amazons- Fierce warrior women imported from the Diablo Swamps the Amazon class is available in Kutzan from Mistress Kyera and her The Leopards

Rogues: While rogues are common, and are not required to be a member of a guild, operating in guild territory without permission may end you dead. The Brutes, pick pockets, and cat buglers tend to work for The Silken Hands, while the drug runners, assassins and worse often are employed by The Black Specters. Those living in the eastern province are freelance or members of the secretive Boxin clan. Finally a special group exists in the dwarven city of Hammerdrier for those willing to risk total darkness.
Rogue Archetypes:
Silken Hand Builds – Thugs, Pickpockets, and burglars
Black Specter Builds – Assassins, drug runners and con artists.
Boxin clan Builds – Gamblers, animal fighters, smugglers
Shadows Breath Builds – Dwarf only.

Sorcerer blood lines:
Sorcerers can receive training from private tutors or The University of Arcanum. The sages at the university have discovered not only a number of new Sorcerer bloodlines, but some that trace their lineage to the most ancient blood of humankind.
Lycanthrope Bloodline- Shape shifting control
Avaian Bloodline- Air focused magic for the bird like races
Arachnid Bloodline- Web specialty sorcerers who are akin to spiders
Beastkin Bloodline- Bestial traits linger in the bloodline.
Nobility Bloodline- {Human Only} Descended from the lines of Kings.
Horse Whisperer Bloodline- {Human Only} Member of The Horselord clans, has learned magic in the saddle, NOT available at the university, clan only.
Hominid Bloodline- {Human Only} The eldest of the human blood lines, they trace back to caveman witches and shaman the first primeval magics.
Crafters Bloodline- There are those who touch the very essence of the muse, the artistic spirit, These unique individuals create unbelievable works of magic and art.

Wizard:
Wizards are most often trained by The University of Arcanum or one of their graduates taking students.
Wizard Schools
Dueling School: A specialized form of entertainment and fun, the wizard duelist specialize in non lethal means of subduing their opponents.
Mephit keepers school: The backbone of the University, the mephits they befriend, heat the water, keep the grounds, and the library and any thing else that needs to be don’t on campus.
Weather Sage: Trained by the reclusive weather witch Lady Estellis LeManis Weather sages are in high demand on board the sailing ships and in caravans.

Alchemist
In Daytar Leamay Alchemy is itself is fairly common as are fireworks but adventuring alchemists are quite rare, the Laws in Daytar Leamay make Black powder weapons illegal and leave it up to the justicar to decide if a substance that is damaging, or addictive, is legal or illegal, few are willing to risk crossing the law. Alchemists in Daytar Leamay cannot be Lawful.

Cavalier:
Cavaliers are common in the military and noble ranks, they can receive training at The Albright Military Academy and often purchase their steeds from The horselord clans.

Inquisitor:
Rare for priest to walk this path but not unheard of. Inquisitors receive training from their Church, The church of Keara actively encourages Inquisitors.

Oracles:
Rarer even that the inquisitor, the oracles are often given a wide berth by the common folk, most often members of the churchs of Pellmar or Ishmara

Summoners:
Common paths taught by The University of Arcanum
Summoner Archetype
Seal Masters These summoners use disposable seals to quick summon their allies in exchange for the eidolon feature
Dimensional Masters These guys don’t actually summon anything, instead they are masters in self transposition and movement.

Witchs and worlocks:
Hiding in the wilds, on the glacier and among the various tribes, witches rarely need training from anyone other than their patron.

NPC classes
These are NOT playable, only offered for flavor. Most medieval commoner professions are common (baker, smith, scribe, stable boy, street rat, wench, tailor) In Daytar Leamay these professions are also common or locally common.
Log Rider: these brave souls buy lumber from wood cutters in Mistyvale woods and ride the logs down river controlling them with only their feet and a hook on a long pole. They have high dexterity and skill point in apprise (lumber) climb, escape artist, swim and profession (log rider)
Swamp Mucker: Excellent money is paid for those willing to risk the swamp. Swamp muckers look for plants indigenous to The Great Swamp and bring them back for processing and sale in Kutzan. Swamp muckers have skill points in knowledge (nature), Profession (swamp mucker), craft (alchemy), survival.
Ferry Driver: Both the Tallaz and Drivan Rivers have flat bottom ferries that deliver cargo, livestock and passengers to towns along their routes. Ferry drivers have skill points in Profession (sailor), diplomacy, intimidate, swim, knowledge nature (river)
